“Les enfants de dada” is a collective of french designers who are clearly opposed to the idea of producing new objets.
Their philosophy consists of creating from existing products.
Their aesthetic choice, furniture and vintage objects from the 50’s & 60’s, is the base for their ‘recycling’.
Their customization and diversion are always in connection with an artiste or period that they greatly admire : from Perrian to Eames, from Mondrian to Klee, from Constructivisme to Bauhaus...
All coming from art school, these youngsters/ young peole have childlike fun between design and contemporary art, while perpetuating dada philosophy as extravagance, derision and humour.
